There is information and material about Friends for Asia and our volunteer and intern projects in various different places online. Some of the sites that have information about Friends for Asia are out of our control, and may have contradictory material regarding project fees, program benefits, etc. For this reason, we are not responsible for any information about Friends for Asia, which is not listed on our own website. Regardless of what other sites may state, our project fees on this page our the most current and will apply to any individual looking to participate in our projects.

Friends for Asia is an organization not connected or supported by any government or religion. We are completely independent. For this reason, a fee is required to participate in our volunteer and intern projects. It costs a lot to provide proper support and quality international volunteer projects. However, we keep our fees as low as possible, and have some of the lowest volunteer and intern project fees offered in Thailand.

All of our Nepal Volunteer Programs start at a two week placement fee of $799 for two weeks. Each additional week is $99/week. 

All of our project fees are in US Dollars. Although we use US Dollars, we accept volunteers of any nationality that possess the necessary requirements for the project of their participation. 

Airport pick up and drop off, accommodation during orientation and entire project time, 2 day orientation, 10 hours of basic Nepalese language lessons, all meals during project placement, 24/7 assistance support.

Plane tickets, travel insurance, cost of transportation to and from work location and cost of criminal police background check required for projects that where volunteers work with children.
